The seminar will be led by Shifu Maurizio Zanetti, the
only Western disciple of Shifu Lin Dongzhu (grandson of the

THE AUTHENTIC LINEAGE
Grandmaster Lin Jingshan is regarded as
the foremost authority on this style in the last century.
As a result of the Cultural Revolution, he transmitted the
system unchanged only to members of his family, preserving
the original structure of the method and its ancient
principles.
Today, the “orthodox” transmission in China is led by Master
Lin Dongzhu, grandson of Lin Jingshan and the current heir
to the family tradition.
In 2009, the Chinese government, as part of its program to
preserve traditional Kung Fu styles, recognized Grandmaster
Lin Dongzhu’s Qixing Tanglangquan as “Orthodox” and as an
“Inviolable Cultural Heritage of the Chinese Nation.”
Within the Lin family, the original method has been
preserved without modern adaptations.
