| The tradition of hard training of
the Hung Gar makes it the style more
respected of the whole south China The Hung Gar studies both the fight for a long range (kicks, sweep, and fists), and that to short range (fists, push with the elbow, levers, projections). It's adapted therefore to any adversary. The most important part of the style is that devoted to the "10 killing hands" (Sup Jit Sau). With these techniques can to mutilate or to kill an adversary with a hit, and for this they are shown to the disciples "close door" of the Teacher that has a good moral virtue. That serves to assure that they are never used in a way by to bring dishonor to the style.
